When faced with such a daunting decision about where to place your loved one, I agonized over the poor quality of some of the homes I visited. At the last minute, my husband looked up The Cottages of Fox Lake because it so nearby. I can’t tell you enough what a great decision it was. I received a callback literally within minutes, went to visit and signed all the papers. My sister is not just living there, she’s thriving! The residents are always engaged in music, games, reading the daily news, taking walks, going on field trips and they are free to express their individual personalities. This place is clean, and the residents are known by name. It’s a small group setting so friendships are made easily. I love this place and all the people who lovingly help the residents.
